This is impossible to build as an LCD, with OLED being the only possible display you could use, and they cost thousands of dollars for relatively small displays.  Something like this would have yields of well under 1% which would result in massive waste, and extraordinary cost.  Also, the longevity of OLED is only a few years.

Also, it’s merely a gimmick.  Just as the original iMac is utterly outdated this would be as well in a few years.

The same exact design could be accomplished with projection, however it wouldn’t be a small device as a result.
