Agreed – it’s not enough to be a clever person with a good degree any more, you need to show you have what it takes to handle the ongoing information torrent throughout your life and career. I wonder how well they teach that in schools these days?

This is the Information Era, as some call it. I think some of us can handle it but as decades pass we will expect more out of our students and workforce. The next 10 years will be very interesting.
