Basically, users can use the AV inputs on the i180 in order to save video directly to the iPod’s hard drive, meaning that you don’t need to got through all sorts of messy conversion apps to get your movies onto your iPod. The i180 can record for 30, 60, 120, or 180 minutes and can record the video in four different video qualities (512 kbps, 768 kbps, 1 Mbps, and 1.5 Mbps).
