Remember that cool DisplayLink technology that we told you about a while back? Well, DisplayLink has teamed up with LG to release the first DisplayLink-compatible widescreen monitor in the European market.

I’m glad to see that these are finally getting released, as it really is some pretty cool technology. Basically you can hook up a monitor to your PC using a USB 2.0 port. You can then plug in up to two more monitors into the first for a total of three while only using a single port on your PC.
While I don’t see this working out well for gamers since you generally need a dedicated GPU for most games, the monitors are capable of displaying smooth DVD playback as well as Windows Vista Aero graphics.
