iBUYPOWER revealed a new USB Internal Expansion System or IES Controller today that’s proprietary to the company and offers a significant power boost to the USB ports and card readers on PCs.

It works by hooking up front panel ports to the power supply of the computer directly. This also makes for an added internal USB port for adding storage via a flash drive or a wireless router.

A Bluetooth module can be added as well for added connectivity with external devices like a keyboard, mouse or printer. You can get the iBUYPOWER USB IES Controller for $14 with a PC purchase or $24 with Bluetooth added.
