Hyundai "Yellowcake" Veloster Turbo is SEMA bound

Hyundai has unveiled another show car that will be on display at SEMA in Las Vegas this November. The SEMA show runs November 5 or November 8 and this new show car is based on the Veloster Turbo. The car was dubbed "Yellowcake" and was created in cooperation with car customizer EGR.

The EGR Night Racer concept was designed specifically with the idea of time attack races conducted at night racing circuits. The "Yellowcake" nickname comes from the name given to the custom bright yellow paint created by PPG and Barry's Speed Shop.

The show car features a roof-mounted LED light bar and custom ONEighty headlights. Inside the car has a custom roll cage and the suspension is a custom tumed ARK coil-over suspension system. The car is also fitted with an AEM truck race.

The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine has been massaged by Bisimoto Engineering to produce 250 hp. The car stops using larger Brembo brakes. The car is also fitted with a custom body kit and a custom interior made by Katzkin.
