Cable and satellite TV costs an order of magnitude more and have adds that run about an order of magnitude longer.
Of course you have to watch a 30 second ad, there is nothing else to do.
With cable, you can hit the head and get more coffee.

Hulu+ … I dont recommend ditching cable for it and the laptop/desktop limitation is really painful. You would be shocked to find that a ton of programming is “web only” and of course mobile browsers are blocked–even if you are a paying subscriber.

And dont get me started on the lack of support for GoogleTV.

Hulu is just as territorial as any other big-name service with sandboxing tactics abound … dont let the down-home, start-up charm fool you.

And no Big Bang Theory.

On the upside, it works on my Xoom very well and the anime selection is decent.

Hulu Plus does not have all of the shows that are on Hulu Free. This is very frustrating. I do pay for Hulu Plus though. I hope that with the increasing membership they can renegotiotiate their deals with the content providers so that the content is available on both.

I find it strange that the paid Hulu plus still has ads that you have to sit thru before your content begins. That’s the only thing stopping me from subscribing. Online streaming is the way to go.
