Hulu bringing Stephen King's 11/22/63 to TV

Hulu is trying to compel you to subscribe to their service, and if you've yet to sign up, this may seal it for you. The company is announcing a new series based on the book 11/22/63 by Stephen King. Centering around the JFK assassination, the series will take a look at what may have been, should President Kennedy not been shot that day.

Perhaps the most poignant turning point of our time, the JFK assassination still captures the imagination and mind of many around the globe. In the book and show, a time traveller will try to alter the course of history by skewing the events that happen that morning.

King and JJ Abrams are signed on as producers for the series, with no potential casting or additional story-lines being offered up. There is a romantic b-story to the book, which will likely be entertained in the series, but nothing additional to suggest how Hulu may turn this into an ongoing series.

Hulu also isn't saying just when the series may show up on their service. It will be exclusive to Hulu, though, so be sure to keep an eye out if you're interested.
