Huawei Honor 7i has a slick 13MP rotating main camera

Huawei has rolled out a new smartphone that has an interesting feature. That interesting feature is a main camera that is able to rotate 180-degrees from the front to the rear of the smartphone to act as both the front and rear cameras. The upside to this feature is that you get a 13MP camera on the front and back of the phone.

13MP resolution isn't that much for a rear camera, but it is among the higher resolution front cameras out there and should make for very nice selfies. It also has a flash integrated into the rotating section so you can light your selfies better.

The Honor 7i runs Huawei EMUI 3.1, an OS based on Android Lollipop 5.1. The processor is a Qualcomm 616 octa core unit and the smartphone has a 5.2-inch display with 1920 x 1080 HD IPS resolution. The smartphone measures 71.2 x 141.6 x 7.8mm and has a 3090 mAh internal battery.

That Qualcomm processor is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. A microSDXC memory card slot is integrated for storage expansion. Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and WiFi are all integrated. The fingerprint sensor is on the side of the smartphone. Pricing in China will be 1899 RMB, which is about $297 in the US.
