Huawei Ascend P7 mini: official in Germany

Huawei has taken the wraps off the Ascend P7 mini, the likely smaller version of the oft-leaked Ascend P7. With the mini comes a 4.5-inch TFT display with a decent enough qHD 960x540 pixels resolution. Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and the Ascend P6's Emotion UI 2.0 Lite UI also grace the device.

The Ascend P7 mini brings a beautiful design to the table, with both black and white models being offered. Under the hood, mobile users will get a Qualcomm 1.2GHz quad-core processor alongside Adreno 305 and a gigabyte of RAM.

The camera trumps the rest of the handset's specifications a bit, with the P7 mini offering a 5-megapixel font-facing camera and a larger 8-megapixel rear camera. The rear camera offers auto-focus and an LED flash. If the internal storage space isn't enough, the handset has an expansion slot supporting up to a 32GB microSD card.

Rounding out the phone — which has a rated talk time of 12 hours and standby time of 370 hours — is a variety of connectivity options: Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, NFC, 4G LTE, and DLNA. What isn't yet known is how much the maker will charge for its newest offering.
