Not new for HTC. My HTC HD7 has this same problem. As well as bluetooth issues. I love WP7 but this HD7 sucks. The Nokia WP7 devices can’t get here fast enough.

That’s certainly disconcerting. It doesn’t seem to be quite as bad as due to the antennae location on the iPhone 4, the signal loss just by holding it naturally.

Laying flat on your palm (or perhaps if you have a very large hand that’s capable of covering the entire back of it at once?) is much less common.

Still, it’s an issue for that to happen without having to wrap both your hands around and try to kill the signal completely like is the issue with most phones.
