Enough differences??? Who cares about the details, their starting point and the entire design language is the iphone and ios, the fact they tried to hide it through “enough differences” doesn’t really sway the argument, I haven’t even mentioned Kies… (also, i accidentally liked your comment, wrong button damn it)

BULLSHIT.

I’ve seen the exterior of the Samsung Galaxy S 2. It is NOT an Apple ripoff. There are enough exterior and interior hardware and software differences to show that it they aren’t even remotely the same phones.

If anything? Samsung demonstrates that they can make a thinner, bigger and better hardware and software implementation on a smartphone than Apple had.

Meh. Sad if I were in the market for the Sensation.

I’m crossing my fingers, toes, arms, legs and knocking on wood that the
Samsung Galaxy S II isn’t locked. That’s the real phone to hold out
for.

The DroidX has a locked bootloader too, and that hasn’t stopped people
from rooting it or loading custom ROM’s – just different exploits.

I wouldn’t personally get a phone with a locked bootloader, but that’s
because I’ve had a taste of freedom – I’ve got an HTC Magic that is
running 2.2, and 2.3 is available in the Cyanogen world. Not to
mention, the 2.2 Cyanogen includes things that Android 2.3 doesn’t even
yet.

I’m looking to get a new phone, to reap the benefits of actually having some processing power, but after that charm wears off, I’m sure I’d eventually want to add these features – at the very least, I wouldn’t want to enter a 2 year contract and shell out good money while closing the door to that option.
Whose phone is it, anyway?

So – fingers, toes, legs, arms crossed for Samsung Galaxy SII.
Sensation now officially off the list. Sorry, HTC – I’ve been loyal, but that’s a no no.

Look, the galaxy s2 is first and foremost an Apple design RIPOFF, hardware and software-wise, a killer spec sheet can’t change that, it’s already a tradition with samsung… I couldn’t live with it, sorry

I own a old HTC Android phone with a locked bootloader, but hackers managed to let me install CyanogenMod nonetheless.
Probably HTC will have ramped up the security on this phone, but I’ll bet someone will hack the Sensation, too, before long.
