The default screen display setting is very conservative. Once you crank up the brightness to the max, the screen truly impresses! I have experienced an occasional UI delays, but only when I am multitasking (installing apps and browsing while playing music).

Coming from an HTC incredible the lock button was on the other side of the phone and seemed too far down. 3 weeks later my brain had been re-trained to never miss it. Additionally, if you decide to use a case, the cut-outs guide your fingers to the right spot every time… Not an issue worth worrying about.

Battery life is disappointing. LTE chews up the battery regardless of signal availability. Took my phone off the charger at 5:45am (100% Charge). At 3pm it is at 10% and fading fast…
9 hours is not enough usage for me. The car adapter will have to save me for the commute home…

My one gripe is that I can’t seem to get Wi-Fi to stay on when the phone is sleeping. At work I have to re-authenticate to get access every time I use the phone for data. I am sure some hotspots will yield the same results. Phone is not smart enough to use cell network even if the phone can’t connect to the Internet via wi-fi. It just keeps trying…

I agree my first HTC phone was the incredible, then the Thunderbolt, and now the Rezound and I have to say that its hands down better in every way. You can’t please everybody and people always try to find something wrong since it human nature. Of course this phone will be just that much better when I root it! Bye bye bloatware!

Ive had the phone for 2 weeks and immediatly put it in an otterbox, everyday I find more and more i love about it. I like heft and the phone feels solid, the display put my iphones to shame, and the camera while not yet as good as the iphone, still produced very high quality shots. Im new to SENSE, but it is much more attractive than phones without it, I chose the dark skin that came preinstalled and love the professional look of the OS.
The battery life does suck, but at leaste i have the option of a larger battery, unlike the razr which is what it is.
I tried the RAZR before deciding but in the end took the RAZR back. For my 300 bucks the REZOUND is my new phone.

Have had the Rezound for a week now and it is an excellent phone overall! New to Android as I was a Blackberry user for many years. Transition to Android was pretty quick and painless.
Charging Dock – is a must have accessory (you can change the 3 displayed default apps in dock mode through the clock app, but not the music player). The Dock Mode has adequate connectivity options depending on if its connected to a Computer or Wall Outlet. The Charging Dock also accommodates the phone with either the standard battery or extended battery attached.
Power Settings/Battery Life – After checking my power settings after the first week, the screen display accounted for 77% of battery use (power mode set to high performance versus Normal or Economy), followed by Cell Standby at 7% and Phone Idle at 5%, then Wifi at 4%. I use the Verizon Wifi app to automatically connect me to my home Wifi router when I am in the vicinity. I can attribute most of the screen display use towards initially setting up the phone parameters and downloading applications, so I would expect that 77% screen use to be considerably reduced from here on out, therefore extending battery life going forward (I am a light to moderate user).Extended Battery – a must have for the heavy power user, otherwise you’ll be swapping batteries like candy (depending on your screen display settings). I find the phone with the extended battery cover easier to hold comfortably in your hand, and don’t mind the extra weight.

Not that is ever a major selling point but it also does NOT have an FM radio as this review suggests. i too wish it were a world phone. Still I have had the phone almost a week now and I like it overall. nothings perfect and HTC delivers a quality product.

Had the phone a day. Not in 4g area, so I have it turned off. I also have the max power save setting enabled. So far from my normal use, I am at 50% battery. It was pulled off charge at 9pm last night. It is now almost 1pm. I have not experienced any lag that a user or two claim.

I’ve seen this post on about 12 websites now and they all happen to be at about the same time of day. So either your a bot or super super bitchy. I got the phone today and I think it is absolutely spectacular. The camera works great!! The audio experience is of course incredible with the included Beats Audio software and iBeats headphones, and as for power and performance it outshines anything I have played with to date, plus it has a build quality that really you can only find with HTC phones.

I have been looking at this phone for a wgile and really like it but there was a few things i was concerned about. One being battery life and the other being how hard it was to press the lock button because i have heard in some reviews that it is very flush to the surface and had little feedback. So if you could help me that would be great.

All you have to do is touch the screen and you can do both. As far as the incredible, in ny opinion its better in every way.

I played with the phone today, and was not that impressed specially with sense which did hesitate at times but again based on my local Verizon store visits none of the Verizon display units live to their potential. Phone did not have 3g or 4g coverage, and the WIFI was set to the neighboring ATT store. Anyway, display is very sharp but not quite crisp as you might expect from it’s ppi stat. It feels great in hand although the screen looked smaller than my GS2 but I think it was a bit taller. Overall, performance was great and I think it is a nice phone. If there was no stutter and it was a world phone, I would definitely buy it.
