it does have a speaker, but I *believe* you think the speaker area is a larger area than it actually is, There are lines that run diagonal on the back of the device mostly for atshetics that might look like a big speaker, they are not. The device, does, however, have a small built in speaker just above the B logo - and as for sound quality through the speaker, it sucks, just as any other phone does. In fact, even with the beats software (which only runs thru the native music android app-NOT 3rd party apps like spotify, pandora, lastfm, ect,) AND using the beats headphones, I'm not blown away by audio quality. Although the headphones themself ARE much better than walmarts skullcandy for $15, the only thing that makes this phone special in regards to AUDIO are the ibeats that come with it. (am I the only one that thinks it's funny ibeats are included w/ an android device??) If you get this phone get it for the superior display FIRST, not battery life, which is ho hum, or for the audio. VZW recently had a promo for the Rezound for $49 on their website which I was able to get BB to match. for $50 you can't beat this phone and the $100 headphoes you get for free, for 299 or 199 I would not pull the trigger and go with a droid max or 4s

Some pictures of the Rezound show it with a giant speaker on the back, others don't. Does it really have a giant speaker and how good is the sound if it does?

Thank you.

Yeah I could include a thousand different things, but I was only talking about pixel density. If you want a full review and comparison, then maybe you should refer to the articles written by tech journalists and not random people in the comments section.

The only point I was making is that Apple can no longer say "The Retina display is the highest resolution phone screen ever." (well technically that was obliteratedly false as of the Galaxy Nexus Launch if we're going on resolution alone) - I didn't think I would need to defend this.

while you're at it, why dontcha quantify user experience as well.

Big screen and LTE suck battery life. The competition's batteries are too small, this one's even smaller. Doesn't make sense.
