Not much is known about the phone in the first place, really its mainly just the name that was seen in a roadmap from HTC earlier this year. Well now its been confirmed that they are changing the name to the Touch Cruise (what?).

This will be the third addition to the Touch lineup preceded by the Touch, and then the Touch DUAL. Word is this one could show us some upgrades to the whole touchFLO system.

Hardware wise its rumored to contain the following: quad-band GSM with tri-band UMTS, as well as support for HSUPA and HSDPA, a 400MHz processor, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, microSD/SDHC card slot, 2.8-inch screen, 3MP cam with autofocus on the back, VGA cam on the front for video conferencing, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. GPS is still up in the air whether it will get an actual GPS chipset or just use the assistive variety. It should be released sometime in November, and if I had to guess, the Cruise addition comes from all the radios packed into this thing, I bet the battery life will be horrendous, only time will tell though.
