Funny, apple copied windows tablet pc to come up with the ipad and no law suit??
The current law suit with HTC is on tech that was on the windows phones of old and the blackberry, how can apple sue over other companys tech???

I understand what you are saying but we have laws in place to prevent things like these from happening. That’s why car companies don’t do it. Apple or Nokia by themselves cannot ban competitors’ products for violation of intellectual properties; they have to go court and follow the legal process. And if a judge decides in their favor, then it is what is.

I do agree that samsung gs2 was most definitely the best phone last year. But let’s see what apple will do to delay the launch of the s3. I have already preordered then just when it’s supposed to come in. A suit with Apple stalls it.

You say “or even a samsung” like HTC is superior to Sammy’s phones. GS2 was the best phone last year, and GSIII will be the best phone this year. Well, of course, this is my opinion but I am sure many people agree with me.

You people are freakin whiners. This is business, not charity. You infringe on someone’s intelectual property and he/she takes to court and wins, guess what happens? You can appeal or comply with the judge’s decision. I am an android guy but I understand stuff like this happens, especially in the tech industry. I also wished companies could settle their differences before going to court but at the end of the day it is up to them.

I have both apple products and Android. I was considering buying the new ipad, I have now decided I will never buy another apple product again. Why hurt the consumer? Let the phones get to the hands of Americans, if HTC is not in compliance with what is released take it back to the courts. I am surprised Apple caused this being an American company. But are they really an American company? All their products are manufactured over at Fox Conn in China where the workers are so stressed that they had to install safety nets on the upper floors of the building to prevent more suicides. APPLE’s court battles should never directly impact the consumer, here or any place in the world. If they want to run the technology sector like a communist country they should move their headquarters China. Bring your share holders with you.
