it is really secure and I can asure that it wont fall of your phone.
it feels like a plastic/rubber mix and absolutely doesn’t feel cheap.
I’ve been testing the battery a bit better the past days and if you do not use your phone a lot (just a few calls, some messages and some mails a day) than the battery can last 2 days.
I also did the quadrant benchmark test and scored a bit higher than in the movie.
the only downside about the phone is that the screen gets dirty rather fast.
but with a screenprotector you can easily solve that problem.
So far I am really happy with my one V and I recommend it to every one (v)

Do you find that the cover on the back of the “chin” that houses the microSD card slips off when you grab the phone out of your pocket? Or is it secured well? It just looks like a flimsy piece of plastic.

I brought mine in India on the day it got released. Find the phone extremely light and compact. Easy to handle and works well. The only problem I am seeing is the lack of ‘menu’ button and hence not able to get into application specific settings – Shredder, Tasker and Tapatalk could not be customized.

I live in belgium and here it was released on the 5th of april. bought mine at the release and so far no complaints about the battery. I am a very heavy user and it lasted a full day!I really love the device! it’s quite fast for only having one ghz.
And the phone feels awesome!

Any word on battery life? The 1500mah which is actually kind of small is worrying me.

Whatever you do don’t go to All thieves and traitors, wait for the One X Lte on sprint so you have unlimited data. It’s the one thing that brings people to sprint so they won’t take it away. Besides then Nexus S 4G is known to have reception problems.

Good decision. Stay away from the Nexus brand of Google phones. I have the Nexus S 4G and I am disappointed in Google again much as I was with the Nexus One. Great phones with great capabilities but Google’s lack of customer care and communication really makes it not worth it. I will probably switch from Sprint to AT&T to get the HTC One X because it looks a lot sexier than the Evo.

Yes finally some news on this. Before seeing this I was thinking of getting a Samsung Nexus S, after seeing it’s benchmark I want the One V.
