Where is the comparison? What are these screen captures showing? Where is this “war” you speak of?

From which phones are those battery life pictures from? What do you mean ”if what we’re seeing is true, the battery war will be over right here in 2012″? From what I read on engadget, the One X has subpar battery performance and the One S has vastly superior. You made no comparison between the two, or even why the battery war ‘will be over’. Other than mentioning that these processors drain close to zero battery while sleeping, you made absolutely no point in this article. Sorry if that was a bit harsh, but that’s what I read.

Because all you’ve said is they both contain new chips, the Tegra 3 with an extra core and the S4 “made also to keep itself conservative”. You’ve said they have had little battery drain in sleep mode, and speculated that this could mean they “stay powered on basically indefinitely ”, and finished with a plug for the device reviews and a vague comment about the future of smartphones.

In other words, there is no battery war, other than the one you’ve tried to create with this article, and you’ve given no real comparison between the devices or evidence to show how much better their battery usage is, other than two untitled screen grabs of the android meter showing pretty unimpressive battery life.
