actually the S4 takes some specs from the A15. you can consider it as an advanced A9.

Upon signing into Skype, I get “Skype Video Calling: Although this device has not yet been certified to work with Skype, you can use it to make video calls. Please note that video call quality may not be as good as on a certified device. This setting can be modified at any time in the Settings menu. (Enable) (Cancel)”

Just tried a Skype Video call between the One S and my Galaxy S… it works, but in this dimly lit lounge in the middle of the night, the auto-adjustment for brightness/exposure is a lot better on the Galaxy S, and dim/orange on the One S… but technically, it works, with caller video full-screen and self-video as PIP

This is not indicative of normal operation, but after the initial charge, my girlfriend’s One S has been running on battery (no SIM, WiFi on, auto brightness) for 2d 11h 1m 20s (40% remaining) with 51% due to the display (2h 38m 5s)…

Very light usage with only occasional app installation/play and trying out the various features of the camera/video. I guess this is promising for standby time.

There is an FM Radio app installed as stock, loading it gives the usual message to connect a headset (for the required antenna connection)

Huh? I thought that Snapdragon S4 is having Cortex A9, the only main difference is that it is on 28nm fabrication process vs Tegra3′s Cortex A9 which is on 40nm fabrication process. This in turn translate into lower power consumption at a the same clock speed (S4′s core vs Tegra3′s core)

The One S has a lower resolution display, so it doesn’t have to work as hard as the One X on the Quadrant benchmark. It’s only apples-to-apples when the phones have the same resolution display.

strange just saw quadrant of HTC one X quad core and that was 49xx something, this dualcore is way too close hmm…..
