Its very clear to me that HTC is trying to head in the Apple direction as the best build phones on the market. I'm guessing in their minds if they can capture a cult following as the best build android phone out there. On the other hand they are forgetting the reason most people lean towards android. The endless ways to customize your phone other than a screen saver and case. the only real issue I have with this phone is the fact they could've capitalized on the fact that other than Verizon, no one else got the DNA. Should've kept the 5 inch screen.

Given that my HTC Incredible 2 is still running 'droid 2.3.4 a half a year after the promised update and the current 'droid version is 4.2, there's no way in hell I'm going to buy another HTC. They simply don't support their products or give a rats ass about the folks who buy them. And the bloatware that comes with my Verizon contact that can't be removed? Holy smokes! A sure sign that your software sucks ass is that you have to force it on people and lock it down so they can't remove it.

And then we should mention the weak USB charging port - the one that breaks easily. This is a design flaw that should have been caught in the first version and fixed before the second version came out. It's obvious that HTC sees this breakage as a "feature" that "encourages" users to upgrade (replace broken) phones frequently. That's not the sort of business model I'd expect from a legitimate phone manufacturer. It almost reminds me of Steve Jobs arrogantly tell his users they're holding *his* phone wrong to explain away bad reception. So yeah, that's another manufacturer I'll avoid for life.
