Don’t like the none removeable battery. It puts this tablet right with Apple who what’s an arm and leg to service the battery. It’s a no go for me.

Warning, HTC is having problems with the ATT SIM cards. The Jetstream is going into a constant reboot loop. as of now there is no fix!

I would rather pay a bit extra than have HTC set up slave factories where people commit suicide.

Hi Chris! Great review!
I’m from India and was mulling over whether to buy this tablet while on my forthcoming trip to the US. Your review has me convinced!
You pointed out that HTC got it wrong with the pricing but I feel it’s pretty competitively priced. It’s roundabout a 100 bucks costlier than the IPad2 (32GB w/o contract) but considering the sturdy build and the durability that goes with it, I’d happily pay the premium. Hope people thinks so too and this thing really takes off!

I’ve had my HTC Jetstream for a few days now and I can definitely say it’s worth every penny! I like the Sense UI better than any other android skin I’ve seen. Everything about this tablet is awsome!

I’m essentially running the device right out of the box. Any additional apps I used (inside that battery time) are also on the home screen you see above with the stars on it.) I’ll be continuing to use the tablet through the future too to see if the battery time is just a fluke, but generally I’ve found modern Android tablets to have a massive battery life almost no matter what.

I purchased the Jetstream because I love the idea of pen input, as I did when I first started using the original tablet pcs 10 years ago. (Specifically, the HP 1100). This tablet has a design flaw — there is nowhere to put the pen. On the other hand, the new Lenovo tablet has a place for the pen so it feels like it is truly integrated. At the very least, HTC or AT&T should bundle a portfolio case to hold the tablet that also actually contains a pen holder. I also am wondering how you are possibly obtaining such incredible battery life. I have had the unit for a few days, and I have yet to make it through a full day — and that is simply taking notes and checking email – no video or other processor-intensive applications. Please let me know what you are running and how you are obtaining such incredible battery life. Thanks.

Exactly my #1 question! Isn’t this Jetstream lke the Flyer, but bigger, and sporting pen support with a digitizer (another reason it’s more expensive)?
