i have an order in the us waiting for the phone so it can be filled and i can’t wait to get it. how did you get it directly from HTC? i looked all over there site when this was first announced and didn’t see anywhere you could buy it. or is it using your uber slashdot powers? LOL

anyway i can’t wait to get mine. at the moment i have my G1 running the HEro ROM and its pretty amazing, can’t wait for the real thing

The iPhone uses a capacative touchscreen, so yes, the Hero uses the same technology. WinMo touchscreens are usually resistive.

Excuse my maybe silly question but I see it has a capacitive touchscreen does that mean that it is as responsive to touch as the iPhone or is it more like a winmo model?
