HTC Gratia Android phone outed (full specs)

HTC's newest Android phone has been revealed, the HTC Gratia, though given it appears to be a European version of the HTC Aria they're not making a huge fuss over it.  Packed into a compact chassis is Android 2.2 Froyo, a 5-megapixel camera and HTC Sense; there's also a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen and 600MHz Qualcomm processor, along with dualband 900/2100 HSPA/WCDMA and WiFi b/g.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a microUSB port and 3.5mm headphone socket, and then there's GPS, a g-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.  Storage is via microSD card, augmenting the 512MB of ROM (RAM is 384MB).  There's also an optical trackpad, touch-sensitive keys and the rubbery casing design with exposed screw-heads that we first saw on the HTC HD mini.

The whole thing measures in at 103.8 x 57.7 x 11.7 mm and weighs 115g.  No word on pricing at this stage, but HTC say the Gratia will hit most European carriers and markets in November 2010.

HTC LAUNCHES SLEEK AND COMPACT HTC GRATIA FOR EUROPEAN MARKETS

LONDON, UK – 18 October, 2010 – HTC Corporation, a global designer of smartphones, today announced the European launch of HTC Gratia, a rich and elegant addition to Android's smartphone portfolio.

Combining style and functionality, the sleek and compact HTC Gratia features a seamless wrap-around soft-cover that eliminates hard edges and a five megapixel colour camera with auto focus.
