I don’t think MS will be relaxing those guidelines any time soon. And personally that’s one thing I don’t like about Android, every manufacturer over-tweaking the UI. Having a few very useful apps for your phones only is one thing. . . mucking up the UI is another.

It does not match in with the rest of the Metro UI at all. The only HTC app I use is flashlight.
