See, I don’t understand this. People buy something and get absolutely crazy b/c they have to convince themselves that THEIR product is the best. Give me a break, just like all those Apple zombies. I never said to go with Samsung, I simply said I had one and it had no problems (vs. my HTC which is *literally* garbage now). Frankly, I’d go with almost ANY company for a device except HTC and LG. Feel free, however, to maintain uber-fanboy status in defending your imaginary “my dick is bigger because my phone is better” cause.

Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize that only the really awesome companies charge $600 for a phone that’s a “test subject” and total crap from an eingineering standpoint (I mean seriously, overheating issues? Is this 1988?) Also, I will concede to your claim that LG has more returns, because they do, but as for your Samsung claim, I call bullshit. Once again, I worked for a wireless carrier and dealt w/ warranty returns all the time. Call me ignorant if u want, but I was on the front lines hearing customers go on about it all the time. To claim that they’re the “most quality, sound, perfectly engineered Android & WM devices” seems to suggest you probably work for them… why else would you get so much sand in your vagina over a comment?

However, i would like it to be true.
HTC need some marketing trick (most powerful, quad core phone!), just like the benchmarks manipulations by Samsung.

To the moron that goes by the title “HTC=Terribad” .. You are incredibly ignorant. Not only does HTC make the most quality, sound, perfectly engineered Android & WM devices, they have lower return rates than Samsung and LG. Furthermore, remind yourself that HTC sold more devices than any other manufacturer for Q3.. And you really brought up the Nexus One? Do you realize how much of a test subject that device was.. and how far that technology has come?

While I’ve been excited for these processors to hit cell phones for a while now, I will *NOT* be buying anything from HTC. Having worked for a wireless provider, HTC had one of the highest return rates of ANY manufacturer we dealt with. Despite all this I bought a Nexus One when it came out, only to find quite quickly that they had TERRIBLE overheating issues (very poorly engineered). Unfortunately, getting a warranty phone that contains the same flaw as the original phone does nothing to solve the problem. My Nexus S, on the other hand, has been an absolute dream. I will wait until a good manufacturer releases phones with these chips instead of getting stuck on the sinking SS HTC without a flotation device again.

it does not look like plastic… its most probabily aluminium unibody … only the part sorrounding the camera is plastic….

Hmm quad core 40nm chips now or 28nm quad core chips in a few months!
Can android even use all those cores?

Android ideal cpu is a dual core @ 28nm until software catches up.
