The resolution is pointless for a 5 inch device. In order to see the difference, you need a special glass to enhance your eyes first, human.

While I don’t know that I would consider switching from VZW, having this phone show up at AT&T would definitely cause me to reconsider. While some of VZW’s business practices (as discussed on our nerdy forums) may be irritating, there is no question that their network is 2nd to none at this time, although that could certainly change in time. Imagine if something happened and GSM became “the bomb” in the US. VZW would have to do something drastic, and I don’t know whenther they could survive it. Stranger things have happened in this fast-paced IT world.

Sigh.There goes HTC’s unified branding strategy behind the “One”. Verizon will not let any handset manufacturer beyond Samsung’s Galaxy (they let that get away from them), gain brand dominace on its network. Even Motorola’s most precious brand property is “Droid’s” bitch.
While Motorola Mbility continues n it’s money losing path, I wonder if there is any intelligence in upper management at HTC’S when it comes to branding strategy. IMo, they should steer clear of Verizon and continue with their awesome phone as new version of the “One” on the other carriers. Screw Verizon. Let them come crawling to YOU when they cannot deny that the ONE is a must have in its lineup.

and i think this is the problem of htc it may makes devieces better than any other smart phone but no one care because of samsung thay will say it’s better even without reading the technical specifications just better , and this comes to the value of the brand

yes ,it depends on the power dissipation if each device , iphone have the less mah in the smart phones now i dont now exactly how much but it’s abbouf 1500 mah , but i last like the devices which have 1800 + because of the power dissipation in the iphone is less than any other phone

My 4″ phone has a 1500mAh battery and it lasts me a whole day easy, sometimes with 50% left at the end of the day. Size of the battery isn’t everything. Like others are saying though, it’ll probably come with a 2500 mAh battery, lots of other leaks state that.

this phone will be sweet. battery may be lacking though as usual for any android phone that isn’t a razr maxx. I kind of agree that a 1080p display is pointless. just gives bragging rights lol. is this phone going to be a phablet or just an oversized phone without a lot of bells and whistles?

Yeah, a lot of people are hoping for a 2500mah battery. It needs at least that. However at 2020mah, it wouldn’t be so far off from the 4.7″ screen LG Nexus 4, so at least it shouldn’t be any worse than the Nexus device that’s coming out. Still hoping for 2500mah though.
