Don’t read the 1Ghz thing too directly. The DesireZ cpu is clocked slower but is more efficient and in most cases faster than current generation 1Ghz processors.
Google it, the DesireZ beats a lot of current gen phones and has already proven to be very overclock-able.

There’s very little tension holding it closed: pick the Desire Z up by the top section, and the weight of the lower-half will pull the hinge open.

I don’t mind, because practically I can not hold the phone only catching screen panel, instead I need to hold it as a one unit or at the bottom. My query is after unfolding keyboard and if you try to type does the screen slides down automatically, and is it upgradable to Android 3.0, as there have been rumors Android 3.0 will require at least 1 GHz processor to run smoothly.
