I'm starting to feel that HTC is trying to pull a Samsung here. Make a flagship device or highend device, put it on all the carriers (sorry Sprint, you decided to skip the W8 phone thanks to you 15.5 billion dollar investment that has yet to prove itself with regards to the ROI) and allow little variation to it.

However, unlike Samsung they are using an unproven OS that could come back to bite them in the ass, such that they may not be able to recover. There is no doubt in my mind that my next phone is the Lumia 920 (still debating on the color) due to the amount of effort Nokia has put pushing applications to WP. Though unlike Samsung, HTC has show WP to be an afterthought and not showing much support.

But now to play devil's advocate, HTC doesn't have a choice here. They have not made a profit in almost three quarters now and need to obviously change their strategy so I can see them making a strong push for these phones...but they need to make a STRONG marketing push such that everyone knows what the 8X and 8S are.
