and for chromebooks i had high hopes but they are too expensive for just a browser. Also users, developers and the infrastructure in some areas/countries are not ready for it (at least for quite a few more years...). As for hybrids my favorite one is probably the moto atrix&#039;s android/linux/ubuntu concept.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I would definitely be interested in this concept, but not sure I would actually shell the money out to buy the thing. Pricepoint would be key. I think the main reason Chromebooks haven&#039;t really taken off is because people begrudge being expected to pay the same amount as a conventional laptop for a machine that offers less and may not do as much. For large numbers of people to even give Chromebooks a try, they need to be a fair bit cheaper than the conventional laptop alternative.

Also, if they do go the dual-boot route - they&#039;d better do a better job of it than Acer&#039;s useless windows/android Aspire Netbook! I bought one of those - the Android boot was useless! You couldn&#039;t even scroll properly with it. I&#039;m sure HTC would do a better job though.]]></description>
