Top problems with HTC phones in the US. 1. Poor battery life on expensive high-end phones. It us ridiculous that HTC ships phones with such large screens but ships a battery that will not give you any longevity. You have to purchase cords and extra batteries too often. 2. Phones never being as close to perfect out of the box. There is always some glitch or tweaking that requiresan update. Even the new One X just got one (for battery improvement if I am not mistaken). 2a. Updates to fix lingering problems are few and far between. 3. Poor build quality. I love how rugged and solid HTC phones feel in the hand, but from dust getting under screen glass to volume rockers falling off the design and builds lately have been sorely lacking. 4. This is just a "me" observation /opinion. Though HTC is a solid phone it is not "hot" or "hip". Little things like the bland text message display. No customization or anything. No kickstand on all premium phones. They tout their phones as multi media power houses but you have to hold the thing in your hand to enjoy it!?! No USA marketing that is consistent or aimed at the younger demographic. HTC "could be" right behind Nokia getting downgraded if they remain as out of touch and arrogant. (Side note: making a phone with embedded [low ] memory AND battery DOES NOT make you an iPhone. Just a copycat and shortsighted. Get some specs to blow people away - not barely match the [leading] competition. You can do this HTC!

Note to HTC...the One series phones mostly the One X and One S should have all come with pentaband 3G/HSPA+ to make their availability very broad to many Networks. Also PLEASE WE WANT PHONES WITH BIGGER REMOVABLE BATTERIES, MICRO SD EXPANSION SLOTS. Also phone thinness does not trump battery life...we will gladly accept devices the thickness of the Nexus One( which i still love so dearly despite its limitations presently), if that means a 3000+mAh removable battery and SD card slot. HTC should know devices the size of 10 to 12mm in thickness are still considered thin mostly if the trade off is a huge longer lasting battery. FYI...a balance of size and longer lasting batteries are fast becoming key selling specs
