"If you want to talk cheap go pick up an LG, Pantech, or even many of Samsungs phones, etc.....but I'm guessing you check out the worst one available and judge all HTCs by it or something."

I'm guessing you did the same thing.

"They put some of the better materials into their devices."

They put the same materials as others. People are so ignorant.

What is "cheap" about HTC phones? They put some of the better materials into their devices. If you want to talk cheap go pick up an LG, Pantech, or even many of Samsungs phones, etc.

HTC has some other highest end and best produced phones available, but I'm guessing you check out the worst one available and judge all HTCs by it or something.

Your comparison makes no sense because u mention getting "expensive iPhone/iPad" but it would be like getting expensive earbuds with it...which a lot of people are willing to pay $100 for the iBeats but they got them included with the Rezound. Are you saying bundled automatically makes them lower quality, maybe wig the iPhone but not with the Rezound.

It's too bad HTC wont continue that trend as I think the One X with a pair of Solos for $299.99 would have done well.

If somebody could combine the One X with the RAZR MAXX, then maybe I could stop carrying around my Cowon J3. Until then I will keep using a dedicated device for music.

beats customers who want a beats branded phone may probably want the choice to get the higher end Tours or stick wit teir Studios or Solos. They may prefer to save the $100 on these entry level urBeats version. unfortunately, the microphone comtrol talk module on the bundled beats headphones are specific to HTC for volume and track controls. ther rally should be a universal standard for these controls across all hardware platforms. i know it isn't high on carriers, handset manufactures list of priorities, but as people startinvesting in third party higher end headphones, compatibility is starting to be a frustration to many.

I don't like Beats and don't even wan't to have Beats logo on my phone. I pay 500-600 Euros for a new phone and I feel like Beats is cheap branded stuff for the masses that shouldn't be present in top of the line phones. It's like getting expensive iPhone/iPad and using bundled earbuds with it.

I think that's a major fail on HTC's part and I say this while using an HTC product, although a consumer might not factor getting a pair of beats headphones as a deciding factor in there purchase it is nonetheless an added perk, one that they paid 300 million for the privilege of adding that perk which would've set well with consumers adding even more value to the phone than just the logo & and aforementioned technology, which I'm sure is awesome but not as awesome as receiving a decent pair of ear buds at three same time. Although I'm still grabbing the One S when it drops.
