HP updates Pavilion notebook PC line

HP has unveiled a new line of notebook computers that have cool designs and some nice hardware. The new line includes the dv6 and dv7 and they use some of the design elements from the ENVY line of notebooks. The machines have Beats Audio and feature USB 3.0 ports. The dv6 and dv7 have four speakers each for ideal sound for movies and music.

The main difference between the two is that the dv6 has a 15.6-inch screen and the dv7 has a 17.3-inch screen. Both machines can be had with Core i5 or i7 processors and optional Radeon 6000M graphics. Storage is up to 1TB for the dv6 and up to 2TB for the dv7.

HP has also unveiled the new g-series computers with the g4, g6, and g7. The machines are aimed at the mainstream everyday user with reliable performance, attractive designs with lots of features. The machines have BrightView displays and Altec Lansing speakers with SRS Premium audio. Pricing is unannounced on the dv6 and dv7 machines and the g series will cost $499.99 for the g4, $449.99 for the g6, and $599.99 for the g7.
