HP TouchSmart PC launches early

HP's TouchSmart PC may not have MultiTouch but it's still proving popular; despite the $1,249.99 starting price tag I've heard many people say they plan on picking one up.  The 22-inch high-definition desktop was meant to launch on July 13th, but according to HP's online store the IQ504 model and IQ506 model are actually shipping today. Hands-on demo video of the HP TouchSmart PC after the cut

Your money gets you, in the case of the entry-level IQ504, an Intel Core2 Duo T5750 CPU, 4GB of RAM, integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with 128MB dedicated memory, a 320GB 7,200rpm HDD, slot-load DVD burner and b/g/draft-n WiFi.  For $1,449.99, the IQ506 boosts the processor to a T5850, adds an NVIDIA GeForce 9300 M GS HD graphics module with 256MB dedicated RAM, increases storage to 500GB and introduces a TV tuner.

GottaBeMobile's Sierra Modro was at a Berlin launch event for the TouchSmart, and shot the following showcase demo.  She describes it as far more impressive than you might guess from photos and the spec-list.  Any SlashGear readers planning to pick one up themselves?
