I was just skeptical and waited a few days more, installed CyanogenMod 7.1 alpha (trusted it more because I’m already running it on my phone) and I haven’t used webOS since. It works great.

Yes it has bugs (WiFi drops out) but I use my Touchpad more then my cell phone now!!!!! I have all my Market apps that I have paid for on my Touchpad as well as all of my paid Amazon apps. As for Barely usable???? Again, I use my Touchpad more then my cell phone now, what’s worse is my girlfriend is always asking to use it now that it has android on it :(

However, dual boot could be nice since HP never got around to optimizing webOS to take advantage of graphics acceleration.
