Two new titans in the HP notebook range have been revealed with an amazing batch of features - bot the HP ENVY Sleekbook and the HP ENVY Ultrabook are here! These notebooks both come with Beats Audio, dual speakers, and a subwoofer for the highest quality sound. Both configurations also come with a soft-touch, slip resistant base that comes in either black or red and can be as thin as an amazing 19.8mm and less than 4 pounds light.
The Sleekbook configuration here in this ENVY duo come with up to 9 hours of battery life and a choice of either discrete-class graphics with AMD or discrete-class graphics with Intel. The Ultrabooks here on the other hand work with up to 8 hours of battery life with the 14-inch display option or 9 hours of battery life with the 15.6-inch display option. Both Ultrabook sizes come with 3rd generation Intel Core processor options as well as mSata SSD.
The Ultrabook options here also have Intel software features galore including Intel Identity Protection, Intel Smart Response, Intel Smart Connect, and Intel Rapid Start. Both ENVY Sleekbooks and Ultrabooks in this new lineup come with HP CoolSense, HP ProtectSmart, and HP TrueVision HD Webcams as well. The ENVY Ultrabook will be available starting on May 9th, 2012, and will have starting costs of $749.99 (14-inch) and $799.99 (15.6-inch). For the ENVY Sleekbook line, we're also looking at a May 9th release date, but only for the $699.99 14-inch model. There's also an ENVY Sleekbook in a $599.99 (15.6-inch) iteration that'll be out on the 20th of June.
