HP ENVY 17, Pavilion dv6 & dv7 get Intel/AMD updates; Mini 210 goes pink

HP has updated its ENVY 17, Pavilion dv6 and Pavilion dv7 notebooks support the new, second-gen Intel Core 2011 processor line-up along with AMD's new Radeon HD 6800 series graphics. On the ENVY 17, that means switchable graphics between the Intel Core on-die GPU and the Radeon HD 6850M discrete GPU, along with WiDi 2.0 support.

The Pavilion dv6 and dv7 keep their general specs from before, but slot in the new CPUs and GPUs. The dv7 also has optional Beats Audio and an HP Triple Bass subwoofer. They'll drop on January 9 2011, priced from $899.99 for the dv6 and from $999.99 for the dv7. No pricing has been announced for the updated HP ENVY 17, however, which is only coming "soon" HP tells us.

Finally, the HP Mini 210 netbook has seen a refresh with updated lids, now coming in a choice of insipid ice-cream pinks. One will go on general sale come January 9, priced at $349.99, while the other will be a Best Buy exclusive from January 23, priced at $329.99.
