HP EliteBook Folio revealed and set for October

HP's solution to the enterprise need for the Ultrabook has arrived, and it goes by the name HP EliteBook Folio. This notebook works with a 14-inch display, weighs in at 3.5 pounds for starters, and is just 0.75-inchest thin. This notebook has enterprise-level docking abilities and has so many ports around its edges that you'll not believe your eyes.

The ports you get with this machine include a Display Port, three USB 3.0 ports, RJ-45 Ethernet, VGA, and more. What we've seen thus far shows us that this notebook will be a fabulous any-user machine that'll be well placed in businesses across the USA for both general and high-powered use. It comes with several battery options for all types of uses to extend your computing life far beyond that of your average PC. This EliteBook Folio comes with a standard 4-cell battery inside and had a 6-cell slice battery option to add-on as well.

Inside you'll find security-minded options galore, each of them set to put your business-user mind at complete ease. You've got an embedded TPM security chip, security lock slot, and a security screw for access to this notebook's bottom door. In addition, you've got an integrated smart card reader as well as full volume encryption on top of it all. Again this notebook will likely be available in October, with pricing information in the meantime – soon, we hope!
