HP Elite x2 is a business laptop and tablet with HP Active Pen

HP has rolled out a new business tablet and notebook in one device called the HP Elite x2. The device was made from the ground up with business users in mind and it has the ability to convert from a notebook to a tablet when needed. The machine has BIOS-level security with HP SureStart tech.

Buyers can option the machine with Intel vPro processor if wanted. The Elite x2 was designed to be very portable and thin measuring in at 8.1mm thick and under two pounds. The tablet portion has an integrated kickstand to prop it up right for use.

That stand can be used with or without the keyboard attached. The tablet has a touchscreen and anti-glare coating with HD resolution. Integrated brightness control adjusts the screen to the environment automatically. The integrated stand has 150-degrees of adjustability.

The standard processor is an Intel Core M unit and storage is to an integrated SSD. A 4G LTE modem is built-in for on the go connectivity and the machine comes out of the box with Windows 10 and ships with the HP Active Pen. The Elite x2 will ship in January and pre-orders start November 23 for $899 including the keyboard and Active Pen.
