HP Chromebook14 appears with three cool color options

The slightly more powerful of the two HP Chrome OS machines is making another appearance today with Intel 4th generation Core technology (Haswell) and three lovely tones for its exterior. You'll find this Chromebook14 coming in Snow White, Ocean Turquoise, and Peach Coral right out the gate. This machine works with a 14-inch diagonal BrightView HD display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution as well.

Under the hood you've got a 4th generation Intel Celeron 2955U Processor, to be specific, rolling out with 32GB of internal storage and a 100GB Google Drive cloud storage allotment as well. This beast weighs in at 4.08lbs and is just 0.81-inches thick. Also backing up its display are Intel HD Graphics and 2GB OR 4GB DDR3L RAM – your choice.

Along the edges you've got 2x USB 3.0 ports, a single USB 2.0 port, and a full-sized HDMI-out. There's also a single audio in/out combo jack, a Kensington lock for events or the office, and a 3-in-1 card reader working with SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. Inside you've got an "Island-style Chrome OS keyboard" above a clickpad with multi-touch gesture support.

Above the display you'll find an HP TrueVision HD Webcam with 720p video support for video chat. You'll be connecting with Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n wi-fi, and built-in optional 4G connectivity too. This whole beast is starting at $299.99, just $20 more than the HP Chromebook11 – imagine that!

This is just one of several Haswell-packing Chromebooks to have been revealed over the past several weeks. Have a peek in SlashGear's Chrome OS tag portal to track this expansion to the fullest!
