i'm not defending HP in anyway, and I am indifferent about their products. i have owned some in the past, but don't own any currently.

however, the ceo's comments are the kind of comment that comes from somebody who has NEVER created anything in their lives. yes, middle & upper management...that's you...

for all those authors, software coders/writers, musicians, scriptwriters, painters, sculptors, artists, engineers, builders, and anyone else that has ever had to spend some time in their lives to create something out of nothing, you know that to create is not as easy as turning on a switch. it takes lots of trial & error before something pops up that is useful...sometimes, what comes up as being useful was an "error" of the experiment..there are many examples of this in history.

this comment from the ceo is typical of a generation of people who suffer from "instant-gratification-itis", who have massive attention deficits, and who do nothing except whine about how things just aren't good enough.

Please...get over it...
