YouTube LogoWant to get a video pulled from YouTube? How about a few hundred videos? All you have to do is email them and claim to be the owner of the copyrighted material, then poof! They’re gone.

A 15-year-old did just that, sent a DMCA notice to YouTube purporting to be a part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. He requested that all clips from “The Chaser’s War on Everything” be removed, and they did just that.

Here’s the ironic part, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation actually encourages clips such as those to be shared on YouTube. Since the incident the boy was tracked down by YouTube, at which time he confessed and apologized. No word on whether YouTube plans on taking any further action in the matter.
