Honda unveils all-new 2016 Pilot SUV

Honda has unveiled the all-new 2016 Honda Pilot SUV and it looks very much different from last year's model. The new Pilot is a mid-size SUV that has three rows of seating and it will make its official debut at the 2015 Chicago auto show. The 2016 Pilot will be in dealerships this summer and is the third generation of the Honda SUV.

The new Pilot rides on available 20-inch wheels and can be fitted with optional brighter and more efficient LED projector headlights with auto high beam technology. The car has available LED daytime running lights and taillights and a new panoramic sunroof option.

Buyers can fit the car with heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated second row seats. Upper trim level Pilots will replace the second row bench seats with a pair of captain's chairs, which is a first time feature for the Pilot. Technology inside the car includes up to five USB ports for charging devices featuring 2.5-amp output.

The Pilot also has an HDMI port for hooking up gaming systems, a pair of headphone ports, dual 12V power outlets, and a 115-volt outlet that will power just about anything you plug into it. The HDMI port will put the game system output onto an available 9-inch rear entertainment system with DVD and Blu-ray capability. The Pilot also has an 8-inch capacitive touch screen powered by Android-based OS ion the front. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
