Home Automation: even the sheets want a piece of it

Home automation remains one of my sly little sub-interests, and as soon as I can afford the relentless mortgage repayments on a place of my own I’ll be happily outfitting it with all the time-saving (and undeniably geeky) tech I can squash in there.  So it’s always good to see what new ideas are emerging, since by the time my bank balance can afford the necessary bricks & mortar it’ll likely be 2045 and we’ll all have hover-shoes.

Automated Home points us to this YouTube video which features Zigbee Wireless, Control 4 and, strange but true, bed sheets that have built-in controls for your MP3 player.  Is it just me who’s expecting to see “nocturnal bed activity” controlled playlists becoming popular should this linen ever hit the market?
