		<description><![CDATA[Hmm, I wondered about as to where someone could get nuclear materials ... not sure about the Uranium but the Americium was I suspect probably accumulated  from smoke detectors. It also seems a lot of folks might even have nuclear surplus just lying around. According to to this 1943 Time article, they were almost giving radium away back then, given the 1500+ year half life makes it still as radioactively viable today if somebody had some of the domestic materials such as old paint intended for clock and watch dials of that era.
