Sorry, the issue was that the original contraction used in the article removed two letters instead of one (that or the apostrophy was in the incorrect position, I can't remember right now). You are correct; "doesn't" is a valid contraction.

Actually it means you will be able to buy a Blu-ray recorder from China that you can plug in between your current Blu-ray player and Flat-screen and make copies straight to a Blu-ray disc, or store on it's internal hardrive. Without a computer.

Don't worry though, I'm sure they'll come up with a new version of DRM to confuse and screw with consumers soon, then that will be cracked.

Ultimately DRM only hurts legitimate consumers with incompatibility issues and forced updates, while pirates suffer with none of those problems.
Rather than spending all their money on DRM schemes and lawsuits, how about they sell their product without all the Draconian DRM crap at a price people are willing to pay, and the convenience of being able to get it when they want, how they want.

That is not entirely accurate. The system with the master key released does allow copies to be made but probably not by your typical user. At least for now.

What this means is people will be able to create pirated copies of movies but you'll need more than a home PC with a BRD drive.

Also don't is a contraction of "do not" "does not" does not contract. Typically a contraction removes only a single letter.

Not undermined, by someone releasing a master key? That's like saying the security of your house is ok if you leave the key in the door!
