Very delusional indeed. Having this “Oh they will be back.” attitude is ridiculous. Media streaming has grown leaps and bounds in the past year. Do they really think they are going to hurt our feelings with not allowing HBO Go to be used by non-subscribers? C’mon Son!

This is obvious, but so ridiculous that it needs stating, their administration is in denial about the progession of technology. Talk about absurd! I guess they will realize the error of their ways when the economy improves and their suscribers do not…. or basic cable will have to flinch first and their prices will drop and then HBO remain delusional for a while longer

Hbo limited vision… How about I pay you directly, Hbo, the same $10 I would pay to Comcast?

How about premium packs on Netflix a la carte?

Or how about i pull down everything you produced this year with a couple days of well-seeded torrents? I’ll be watching the new season of weeds either way.

And this is WHY “PIRACY” EXISTS!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid. There are people who want to pay HBO for their product and they are refusing to do business with them. If HBO thinks cord-cutting is a “fad” they are very, very wrong and need to talk to people in the 20s and early 30s

I pay a premium for HBO with my cable package, and still I cannot use this app. Doesn’t work with any cable provider in the NYC area.

I used to have DirecTV’s full monty package of all their channels and then I dumped all of my ‘pay channels’ a couple of years ago. I didn’t feel like continuing to give DirecTV money for channels I mostly didn’t watch. For me it was the principle of trying to minimize my propping up/ endorsing of/ giving $$ to anything that trickled down to the RIAA/MPAA, the twin demons of content. I want to pay a reasonable fee for the content I consume, and ONLY the content I consume, and consume it in any fashion I see fit. I also want to maximize my support of the artists who create the content, and not a bunch of middlemen/leeches.
