The article is true. Time Warner allows HBO Go access on mobile devices, it is not supported in the Xbox app.

The two gentleman below speak the truth, I am a Cablevision user and we unlike Time Warner Cable are not able to use HBO GO at this point in time. But we will be able to sometime according to those at Cablevision in mid March (so next week or so). Thus making the arrival of this app to Xbox 360 all more the better for basically everyone in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island who have Optimum Online/Cablevision…

This article is not true. Although Time Warner Cable used to not support the HBO GO service, they have since overturned that. I am a Time Warner Cable HBO GO subscriber and have been actively able to use the streaming service on my android and laptop.

Hi – I’m the director of digital communications at Time Warner Cable. We spun off from Time Warner Inc. back in 2009 and have no ties to them or HBO.
