I like HBOGo a lot. Mostly because I like a lot of the HBO series of shows. I also have Netflix, but the other day I was looking through the movie catalog with my GF and we both thought it to be a weak movie selection and not very many recent TV show episodes (ones from the current season) and that made us question keeping it. Going to give hulu a shot and if they keep up to snuff then bye bye Netflix.

While nice, HBO and HBO GO never have the latest movies one can get on demand or via other premium internet video streaming services.

I like HBO GO (and MAX GO), but see them more as nice bonuses to the TV services than replacements for Netflix streaming. That said, I prefer Blu-Ray over any of these for real video/audio quality and reliability if I'm having folks over to watch a movie..

HBO GO latest iPad and Android application requires signin information to be entered each time rather than stored on the device... What a nuisance!

For those on Android 3.x, I can access HBO GO via web browser (chrome) on my Logitech Review running Android 3.1 ... I suspect one could do the same from other Android 3.x /4.x devices until the app is ported.

I plan on canceling HBO/MAX (had a free preview) so won't be using GO apps anymore... But HBO could cut the middleman (Verizon FIOS/Comcast/...) out of the picture at some point and I'd pay $8/month just for HBO GO... :)

Yes, HBO originally gave home consumers access to hollywood movies.

But, you're still in the honeymoon phase. Nothing in HBO's history suggests they can scale this up. I tend to think that Netflix hit a bump in the road, they've still got the best device penetration, the best value and the name. They'll get to original content before Hollywood figures digital out.
