Hate waiting? Here's a Apple Watch rental service by Lumoid

Apple Watch will be launching April 24th but with its 15-minute window to play with the watch, it will be difficult to get a true hands-on experience. The Apple Store also isn't going to be allowing any walk-in purchases for the Apple Watch in the beginning. So, how are we supposed to get our mitts on the latest tech? Enter, Lumoid, the gadget rental service. Lumoid has been around for a while and delivers high-priced to your door, allowing you to try them before you commit to purchasing. As of April 24th, using Lumoid you can rent an Apple Watch and play with it to your heart's content.

That's right, Apple Watch should be available on Lumoid the same day as it launches in the Apple Store. So, instead of fighting the crowds only to walk away empty-handed, you could simply get the Apple Watch delivered to your door; that way, you have it all to yourself.

We got an email from Lumoid revealing the details. You can try out the Apple Watch for a full seven days. Renting the steel model will run $55 USD while the sport model will only cost $45 USD to rent. If you like what you see, go ahead and buy the Apple Watch from Lumoid, using $30 USD of your rental fee from the steel ($25 USD from the sport) going towards your purchase.

Due to limited quantities, Apple Watch rentals may have a waitlist. Don't despair; check out the other offerings on the site to tide you over. Here's how it works for the rest of the wearables on Lumoid. You can pick up to five wearable gadgets and try them at home for seven days. If you like what you see, you can purchase them through Lumoid. The best part about it, is that if you decide to purchase one of your five items, you don't pay ANY rental fee. Otherwise, it's $25 USD for renting the latest wearables for a full week.
