If this turns out to be true then so be it. I really do not care about honeycomb, more gingerbread at the moment. I am only interested in OS support for utilizing multi-core cpus.

Watching the video I see the exact same Tap-n-Tap UI that the Gtablet has (OTA_3588 ROM Jan2011). In the video, I see TnT giving a momentary lag on every touch input, I believe this to be all tied to Tap-n-Tap UI. I did force myself to evaluate TnT-UI for a week. I find it to be usable (after a slight learning curve), but leaves a lot to be desired in performance in comparison to any vanilla android loader. Personally, I prefer having live wallpapers and custom icons (another place Tap-n-Tap falls short).

"Meanwhile, because it falls short of the 1280 x 800 display (and twin cameras) that Android 3.0 Honeycomb mandates, it can’t run the tablet-centric OS either."

Chris, I was just looking through the Ventana SDK for Tegra2, there is no mandate to having two cameras, there is no mandate on screen resolutions below 1920x1080. I can find no confirmation from the honeycomb developers that Honeycomb is only to be built for a certain screen resolution as well, I find 1280x720 (720p) to be the suggested reference resolution. The only Honeycomb camera requirement placed is for a front-facing camera.

Wow TapTap has come a long way since I first saw it on the gtab. I'll probably still grab an Asus Transformer or Acer A100 even though they'll be similarly priced(considering vat). Wonder if they're delaying it until Q3 in hopes of getting HC on there? Otherwise I don't see an android 2.2 selling well after the similarly priced honeycomb ones have been out.

By the way has there been a real minimum set for honeycomb or was the screen resolution one of those rumors that constantly keeps being brought up since well the beginning of android?
